Summary

This book follows Bay and the gang as a new mystery unfolds during the holiday season, bringing together magic, small-town drama, and plenty of chaos. As always, the story blends a lighthearted paranormal mystery with festive elements, creating a cozy, easy-to-read experience with just enough intrigue to keep things interesting.

What I Loved

This series continues to be a go-to for me whenever I don’t know what I want to read because it’s consistently entertaining and easy to fall into. Aunt Tillie remains my absolute favorite, and she brings so much personality and chaos to the story that she completely steals every scene she’s in. The mystery itself was fun and engaging without feeling overly complicated, and the romance added a nice touch without taking over the story. I also really enjoy that these books stay on the sweeter side, making them perfect when I want something cozy without any heavy or smutty elements.

What I Didn't Love

The only thing I find myself wanting more of is deeper insight into the other characters and their personal lives. There’s a lot of potential there, and while the focus stays primarily on the main storyline, I think exploring those side characters a bit more would make the overall story feel even richer.

Final Thoughts

This series is always reliable, and this book is no exception. It delivers exactly what I expect every time, which makes it such an easy recommendation. If you’re looking for a cozy paranormal mystery that’s light, entertaining, and full of personality, this is a perfect choice.
