Summary

This story follows two characters navigating their own personal struggles while getting pulled into a town scavenger hunt that slowly brings them closer together. As the event unfolds, so do their feelings, creating a mix of sweet moments, quiet tension, and small-town charm that carries the story all the way to its emotional ending.

What I Loved

I absolutely loved this book and ended up enjoying it even more than the first one. The scavenger hunt element added something fun and different to the story, and I genuinely didn’t expect the outcome, which made it even better. The emotional side of the story really stood out, especially the internal struggles both characters were dealing with. It made their actions and decisions feel more meaningful, and it gave more weight to the overall story. The ending was easily one of my favorite parts because it was so sweet that it actually made me tear up a little, which doesn’t happen often.

What I Didn't Love

The miscommunication between the two characters, where they both clearly have feelings but refuse to say anything, was a little frustrating at times. It didn’t take away from the story overall, but there were definitely moments where it felt like things could have been resolved much sooner if they had just been honest with each other.

Final Thoughts

This is one of those books that’s easy to fall into and hard to put down once you’re in it. It’s soft, emotional, and genuinely satisfying by the end. I would absolutely read it again, and it’s a perfect choice if you’re looking for something cozy with just enough emotional depth to make it stick with you.
