Summary

Noah's life is turned upside down when she's forced to move across the country to live with her mother's new husband. The last thing she expects is to clash with his reckless and frustrating son, Nick. What starts as constant arguments quickly turns into something much more complicated as they both struggle with painful pasts, family drama, and feelings they know they shouldn't have.

What I Loved

The banter between Noah and Nick was easily my favorite part of this book. Their relationship perfectly captured the idea that there's a thin line between love and hate, and watching their feelings slowly change kept me hooked from beginning to end. While I know the step sibling aspect won't be for everyone, it never felt strange to me because they didn't grow up together and were complete strangers before their parents married. Noah's past was absolutely heartbreaking, and I appreciated how patient and gentle Nick was as she slowly began opening up to him. Their relationship had plenty of tension, but it also had some genuinely sweet moments that balanced everything out.

What I Didn't Love

The only thing that may be difficult for some readers is the step sibling relationship. Even though it didn't bother me personally, I can understand why it might make others hesitant to pick up the book. There were also a few moments where the drama felt a little over the top, but it fit the overall tone of the story and didn't take away from my enjoyment.

Final Thoughts

I had a great time reading My Fault. The chemistry between Noah and Nick, the witty banter, and the emotional moments made it hard to put down. If you enjoy forbidden romance with plenty of tension, family drama, and characters who slowly break down each other's walls, this is definitely one worth checking out.
