Kiss the Girls follows detective Alex Cross as he investigates a disturbing series of disappearances and murders connected to a killer known as Casanova. As the case grows more complicated, Alex realizes there may be more than one monster involved, and the truth is darker and more twisted than it first appears.
I really enjoyed the mystery in this book. The two killers made the story even more interesting because, at first, I thought they were only competing with each other. I never expected them to actually know each other, so that twist made the story feel more layered. I also liked how the book kept me guessing. Toward the end, I really thought I knew who Casanova was, but the reveal still caught me off guard.
I also loved the friendship between Alex and Kate. After everything they both went through, it felt like they really needed someone who understood the weight of what was happening. Their bond gave the story a stronger emotional side without taking away from the suspense.
Honestly, there was not anything that I really disliked about this book. It kept my attention, the mystery worked well, and the ending surprised me.
This was a really good thriller with a dark mystery, interesting killers, and a reveal that I did not see coming. I liked the suspense, the twists, and the connection between Alex and Kate. I would definitely recommend this one if you like crime thrillers with a darker edge.
