Summary

Girl Forgotten follows high school student Piper Gray as she investigates the unsolved murder of Layla Trello for her senior passion project. She starts a true crime podcast and begins digging into the seventeen year old case, but the closer she gets to the truth, the more dangerous her investigation becomes.

What I Loved

I really enjoyed how quick and easy this book was to read. It reminded me a lot of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, especially with the teenage investigation and true crime element.

The mystery kept me interested, and I had fun trying to figure out who the killer was alongside Piper. I definitely had my suspicions, so seeing everything finally come together was really satisfying. I also loved how sweet the ending was.

What I Didn't Love

There honestly wasn't much that I hated about this book. It was a quick and easy read that kept me interested from beginning to end. I enjoyed the mystery, the characters, and trying to figure out what happened alongside Piper.

Final Thoughts

Girl Forgotten was a fun and entertaining YA mystery. The storyline kept me interested, the pacing made it easy to fly through, and I loved being able to come up with my own theories along the way. If you enjoyed A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, I think this is a great book to try next.
