Val has spent much of her life feeling alone, but a chance encounter with Dom changes everything. He's charming, protective, and determined to make her his. But Dom has secrets of his own, and their relationship quickly becomes much more complicated than Val ever expected.
I absolutely loved Dom and Val together. Dom was so freaking sweet and protective of her, and I loved how he cared for Val when she was dealing with things from her past. The nicknames between them were also perfect and made their relationship even sweeter.
This book actually made me tear up a little, which I was not expecting. Their relationship had me so emotionally invested, and I could honestly cry just thinking about how much I loved them.
There was definitely a point where I was so pissed at Dom. I understood more as everything played out, but that didn't stop me from wanting to yell at him for a while.
Unfortunately for me, I couldn't stay mad at that man.
Dom is easily my favorite of the series so far. I loved the relationship between Dom and Val, how protective and caring he was with her, and how emotionally invested their story made me.
It gave me the feelings I was missing from the previous books, and I genuinely didn't want to put it down. An easy five stars for me.
